Back from sunny Cornwall!

Mags just loves the beach, favourite place in the world!

So I'm back!!! At last.........7 hours in the car and finally had a lovely time and thank you very much for Helen for taking over while I was busy eating pasties and cake in Cornwall, fab blogging. That wont be the last time you'll here for her, as I'll be wanting Helen to do a special blog in the new year when she comes back from her December in New Zealand, lucky thing!!!

I'm also loving these amazingly intricate paper cut pieces from Japanese artist and illustrator Hina Aoyama.  The pieces are so delicate and beautiful and amazingly she doesn't even use a scalpel...just a teeny tiny pair of scissors! You can see more of her work here www.flickr.com/photos/37051688@N00/ - truly inspirational!

Hi everyone in cuckoo land! Well as you already know I'm guest blogging while the lovely Amy is off to sunny Cornwall for her holidays, so i hope I'll be able to keep up the good work she's started and find lots of gorgeous things to show you while she's away!
As Amy already mentioned i love anything to do with paper cutting, the more fiddly and intricate the better so you can imagine how pleased i was when i saw this new limited edition Rob Ryan laser cut, titled 'I can't forget'.
It's part of the new 'Cherry on the cake' range from the V&A featuring 12 designers including Rob and you can buy them on the online V&A shop!

My Guest blogger!!!

So I'm going away for a few days and thought I'd ask my good friend and fellow designer Helen Lumb to do a guest blog for me! Helen is an amazing designer and spent many years designing for Tigerprint design studio for Marks and Spencer. Helen has a gift with the craft knife! She creates the must intricate and beautiful designs (no laser cut machines here) just Helen's little hands!!! She would'nt let me post a drunken picture of her at the races so I thought a school pic would be just as funny, bless her, she hasn't changed at all!!!

Helen's handiwork - A lovely wedding present for Zoe!
