Let it Snow!!

A little bit of snow and the world goes mad!! The most annoying thing is getting to work took an hour and a half to do 8 mile and there s no snow on the roads, whats with that!!!
I love the snow, i think it makes everything look beautiful! I feel really Christmassy, if only we were allowed to drink mulled wine at work and watch home alone, I'd make a good boss!!

French Wedding!

So what a weekend! Jetted off to France on Friday to be there for a friends wedding! So much food and drink I was worried I'd have to pay extra to fly back for the added pounds!!! Was a beautiful day! Congrats Nick and Becks!!

I Was in Tesco's the other night and saw a couple of my designs in there! Did these ages ago and completely forgot! Nice surprise!

Movember!!

So Movember has hit the facial hair growers of the world!! For some this comes easyer than others!! The guys in the studio are taking part and have dedicated a whole wall to the best moustaches they can find!!

My Asda Xmas Characters!

Popped into Asda last night and had a peek at the Christmas stuff and saw some of my characters I did last year! I always find it weird when you see your work just sat on the shelf!

My friend wrote this and although I gave him stick for been soft, i thought it was really nice!! I won't tell him mind you, don't want him to think I've gone soft!!

Studio Bonfire Bake off!!

Collette's bonfire won the award for presentation!

Finally the wait is over, the studio bonfire bake off is underway and the entries are amazing! From Matchmaker bonfires to a carrot cake pumpkin! Nick's Giant Victoria Sponge cake was very impressive it made all the girls smile!!! (yummy!)

Steve's burning man crispy cake bonfire won bosses choice!

I made Oreo owl cupcakes!!

Nick baked a magnificent Victoria sponge, winning the studio taste award and the wooden spoon, well done Nick!!

......And then there was Jemma's!!!!!!! She said it's a rocket....mmmm well that's not what we thought bless her!!!

The great paper caper!

I was inspired to blog today by something a friend of mine wrote in a blog interview he did recently. When asked about people that inspire them he chose someone I love, who I would have chosen, Oliver Jeffers. His Children's books are beautiful, one of my faves is 'The Great Paper Caper.' His illustration style is so quirky and fresh, really inspiring! If you don't own one of his books go buy one, you don't need to have kids to appreciate them!

Blakpool lights!

Maggie Had such fun at the lights, she went on a tram and when she saw the tower she said 'Thats where the queen lives!' bless her!

Black Keys!

So after a busy couple of nights, Thursday night Frankie Boyle then Friday-Saturday Blackpool lights, It was only right to end my long weekend with a gig!! If I wasn't tired before I am now!! We went to Leeds O2 to see Black Keys, It was brill, well worth the eye bags today!!!
